Odds and Ends

On June 18, Nostalgia Digest Magazine publisher Steve Darnall made his first "public appearance," where he entertained a crowd at Quimby's in Chicago with sound samples from and anecdotes about the Golden Age of Radio. Steve's friend Will Clinger (the former Wild Chicago host whose article on the Uptown Theater appears in the Autumn issue of NDM) joined in the fun as the pair honored radio greats Bob & Ray with their attempt at the "Slow Talkers of America."
